Confidentiality

1. Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all Safe Haven members. Maintain strict confidentiality of all personal information shared during coaching sessions.
2. Ensure that all electronic devices used for coaching sessions are password protected and secured.

Professional Conduct

1. Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
2. Treat all Safe Haven members with respect, empathy, and non-judgment.
3. Avoid engaging in any behavior that may be considered discriminatory, offensive, or harmful.

Coaching Sessions

1. Conduct coaching sessions in a private and quiet environment to ensure member confidentiality.
2. Ensure that coaching sessions are conducted on a laptop or PC with a stable internet connection and optimal audio/video quality.
3. Encourage active member participation through effective questioning, active listening, and providing constructive feedback.
4. Create a safe and non-judgmental space for members to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges.
5. Foster a collaborative and empowering coaching relationship with members to support their growth and transformation.

Scheduling and Communication

1. Provide clear and timely communication regarding scheduling, session reminders, and any necessary changes.
2. Honor agreed-upon session times and be punctual.
3. Be flexible and accommodating with rescheduling requests, whenever possible, considering the member's needs and availability. Remember, reschedule requests must be accommodated up to 24 hours in advance.
4. Do not share individual booking links with members. Utilize the designated booking system provided by Safe Haven to manage and schedule sessions efficiently.

Consistent Meeting Times

1. Establish a regular schedule for coaching sessions to provide predictability and consistency for Safe Haven members.
2. Strive to maintain the agreed-upon meeting times unless mutually rescheduled in advance due to exceptional circumstances.
3. Communicate any changes to the schedule promptly and ensure that members are informed well in advance.
4. Honor the scheduled duration of coaching sessions and avoid extending or shortening sessions without agreement from the member, except in cases of emergency or mutual agreement.
5. Foster a sense of reliability and trust by consistently showing up on time and being fully present during coaching sessions.

Boundaries and Scope of Practice

1. Clarify the boundaries and limitations of coaching services to members, emphasizing that coaching is not therapy or a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
2. Refrain from providing diagnoses or offering therapeutic advice. Encourage members to seek appropriate professional help when needed.
3. Maintain a clear understanding of your own coaching skills, competencies, and limitations. Refer members to other professionals if their needs fall outside your scope of practice.

Continuous Professional Development

1. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance coaching skills and stay updated on best practices, methodologies, and research.
2. Seek consultation when necessary to ensure the highest level of coaching effectiveness and ethical standards.

Self-Care

1. Prioritize self-care and maintain your own well-being to be in the best position to support Safe Haven members.
2. Seek personal support, supervision, or professional assistance as needed to manage any challenges or issues that may arise during your coaching practice.
